“Tera Hoon” was born during rehearsals for the 25th anniversary of Jahan-e-Khusrau, curated by the legendary Muzaffar Ali Sahab. During a casual exchange, he suggested that Varsha Singh Dhanoa present an original piece. While flipping through a book of poetry, he serendipitously came across Tera Hoon by Zaheen Shah Taji.

The words instantly resonated with Varsha and Guru Dhanoa, striking a deep emotional chord. Inspired by the poem’s depth and beauty, they composed and brought the song to life with their signature soulful style. The music was produced by Guru Dhanoa and supported by some of India’s most accomplished musicians like Chintoo Singh Wasir, Ustad Dilshad Khan, Zoheb Khan, Gaurav Vaswani, Sanjoy Das, Prashant Sonagra, Swaranjay Dhumal and Rahul Deo.

This marks Varsha Singh Dhanoa’s first original Sufi song, offering that takes her Sufi journey to another level.

An intimate expression of love, surrender, and devotion, Tera Hoon stands as a heartfelt musical offering—born out of poetry, passion, and divine timing.
