Music Composer Rakesh Tripathi composed and wrote this song based on Raag Keervani, a Carnatic Raag, to convey the deep sadness experienced in a broken relationship. While the foundation of the song is Indian Raag based, the lush Western Symphonic orchestration designed and conducted live by Sanjay Jaipurwala elevates the song. The precise and emotionally rich rendition by Pratibha Singh Baghel, justifies her title as Shehzadi-e-Ghazal (Princess of Ghazal), as bestowed to her by the composer.
