After the emotional response from the trailer release of Goldfish, Splendid Films has now announced the release of the film’s evocative soundtrack from the heart-warming film. The soulful music of the film adds to the overall aura created by the director amalgamating intense drama syncing with deep emotions.
The film's music had its humble beginnings - with just one song. The film's protagonist - Sadhna (Deepti Naval) - had recorded a Thumri in her younger days and with an early onset of dementia, finds a connection with her past only through music.
Tapas Relia (composer) and Pushan Kripalani (screenwriter) both had a realisation that the film needs more music pieces to justify the protoganist's love for music. With Kausar Munir having shared lyrical ideas that went well with the narrative, Tapas began culmination his ideas for further songs. Wanting to not keep it instrumental, he roped in the singers - Papon, Madhubani Bagchi, Ustad Rashid Khan, Pratibha Singh Baghel, and Om Bongane.
